Homecoming week kicks off at Lyman High School
Lyman School kicked off the annual homecoming week celebration with coronation at the Presho Gym Monday night. Corwin Mohr-Eymer was selected as king and Kacie Wagner was selected as queen.
Other royalty candidates were Brad Lebeda, Ty Schindler, Jacey Miller, Lyndsey Thiry, with Haleigh Elwood, Drew Lulf, Tyson Floyd and McCall Garnos serving as ushers. Messengers were Trig Larson and Oakley Schindler, and crown bears were Sophie Wolf and LaMya LaRoche.
Thursday, Lyman Cross Country will travel to Chamberlain and the Lady Raiders Volleyball will take on Sully Buttes at home at 6:30 pm, with the burning of the letters to follow. Friday the pep rally will be in Kennebec at the gym starting at 1 pm with the parade to follow on Kennebec Main Street. The parade route will start on the north end of Main Street, near the Feed Mill, and progress south on Main, then turn east on to 2nd Street and end at the gym.
The Lyman Raiders Football team will play Rapid City Christian at 7:30 pm. The Lyman Booster Club will host a tailgate party from 5:30 – 7 pm at the football field. Saturday Lyman Cross Country will host their home meet at the Medicine Creek Golf Course starting at 10 am.
