Saturday, September 11th, Janice Schelske attended the Sew What Quilter's meeting, at the Presho American Lutheran Church. A Show and Tell was held with quilter's showing what they had finished and telling about it. Dorothy Monson and Caroline Halgrimson gave a lesson on the color wheel. Dorothy gave each group fabric pieces and they finished a block with colors blending into place.

[b]Raiders out score Scotties in season opener[/b]

The Lyman Raiders football team delivered their first victory of the season Friday night when they beat Philip 28-16 on the Raider\'s home field in Presho. Lyman led 22 to 8 at half time.

Blaine Brakke rushed for 179 and had an additional 72 receiving yards against the Scotties. Quarterback Jordon Gourneau had 79 passing yards.

Drew Reuman led the Raider\'s defense with 18 tackles followed by Kyle Meier with 14, Austin Gournearu with 11, and Colby Brakke with 10.

The Raiders travel to Kadoka Friday night for a 7 p.m. MT start.

[b]Enhanced Digital Cable TV available [/b]

Outdoor channel part of new digital programming package

On September 1, 2004 Kennebec Telephone Company announced the addition of enhanced digital programming with over 80 new channels.

The enhanced digital programming will allow existing cable TV customers in Kennebec and Presho to add digital packages to their analog lineup.
