The tennis court in the Presho park has been refurbished and is ready for play.

A grant from the US Tennis Association and funds from the Schoenhard Foundation were used to refurbish the facility. The work included patching the concrete pad, sealing it, and applying color coats of green for the court and rust red for the sidelines. Playing lines were also added, and the court was enclosed with chain-link fence ten feet high.

The work on the court was done by Janco Athletic Surfacing of Renner, SD, after Neil McNaughton and the Presho city crew installed the new fence.

Tennis lessons are planned for next spring.
