Lyman Alumni gather for weekend of events
Graduates from Lyman High School will hold a reunion Saturday, Saturday, July 26 at the Middle School Gymnasium in Kennebec starting at 6:30 pm.
Those honored classes this year will be years ending in “4” and “9”. The class of 1974 will be the oldest honor class, as they mark their 40th reunion.
There will be potluck hor ‘devours and attendees are also asked to bring their own beverages. Bottled water, paper plates and silverware will be provided by the association.
A short business meeting of the association will be held, followed by the presentation of the association’s scholarship and honor class photos will be taken for the newspaper. The event will conclude by 9:00 pm to allow everyone time to attend the street dance is Presho.
Some individual classes will have private gatherings on Friday night including; 1974 – Snake Den Lodge; 1979 – Hutch’s; 2004 – Lake Byre (Saturday).
Alumni officers are Brock Sundall (94), Jim Cole (82), Norv Millard (76), Shelli (Caslin) Collins (94) and Lucy (Studt) Halverson (77).

The Presho softball tournament returns to the lineup of alumni weekend events this year.
According to organizer, Dean Reumann, the 8-team tourney starts Saturday at 10 am at the Presho ball field and continues throughout the day.
Teams will return to the diamond at 10 am Sunday morning.
Presho All-School reunion set for Saturday
An All-School reunion of former Presho High School will be held Saturday, July 26 at the Christ the King Catholic Church in Presho starting at 5:00 pm.
People are asked to please bring a salad or dessert for the meal Saturday night which will start about 6:00 pm. The meat and buns will be furnished by the association. A business meeting will follow the banquet.
According to correspondent secretary Alice Mang James, anyone who attended PHS is welcome to attend the reunion Saturday night and also the breakfast/lunch at Hutch’s on Sunday. Sunday’s meal is open seating/pay as you go at Hutch’s from 9 am - 1 pm
Honored classes will be those ending 4 and 9. The 2014 Distinguished Alumni will be revealed at the reunion/ banquet, also.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Lane Moore from Vivian, SD, who will be singing songs from the 40’s - 1970.
