Saturday, September 11th, Janice Schelske attended the Sew What Quilter's meeting, at the Presho American Lutheran Church. A Show and Tell was held with quilter's showing what they had finished and telling about it. Dorothy Monson and Caroline Halgrimson gave a lesson on the color wheel. Dorothy gave each group fabric pieces and they finished a block with colors blending into place.

Blaine and Bev Kenobbie spent part of last week in Rapid City attending the South Dakota Stock growers Annual Convention

Janice Schelske and grandson, Logan, visited Joe and Leola Burrull last Tuesday. Leola, Joe, Verna Schmitt and Janice played cards.

Rick Roth, Rapid City, spent 2 days last week in the parental Barbara Roth home. On Saturday he hosted supper at the Golden Buffalo Cafe, Lower Brule, for his mother. They played scrabble also.

Donna Stewart, Olympia, Washington, visited by phone with her parents, Carrol and Dorothy Stewart, Sunday.

Ronda, Ryan, Kara, and Cole Schelske, and Janice Schelske attended the first meeting of the year for the Adventure Club. A picnic was held.

Thursday morning Barbara Roth's grandson, Austin, surprised her with a visit; he had some time so came to visit before he returned to Colorado on Friday. Barb and he played Scrabble.

Leland Stewart visited in the parental Carrol and Dorothy Stewart home Sunday enroute to work.

Visitors in the Loraine Suhl home during the week were Marilyn Wagaman; Roberta Stewart; Paula Buum, Chamberlain, and Alan Suhl, Oacoma.

Sunday Barbara Roth visited in the Verna Schmitt home; Scrabble was played and Barb won every game!!

Bob Stewart visited in the Carrol and Dorothy Stewart home Sunday evening.

Gladys Stewart's sister and husband, Patti and Joe DeCoteau, Milwaukee, Oregon, arrived September 4, to visit Bob and Gladys and other relatives and family; On September 11th, Bob and Gladys took them to Bismarck, North Dakota, to board a plane for their home. Over the Labor Day weekend Duane and Lisa Hanten and family, Sioux Falls, were guests in the parental Stewart home to visit relatives.

Friday Carrol and Dorothy Stewart ate supper at Al's Oasis Cafe, Oacoma, and visited with friends.

Friday Marilyn Wagaman and Loraine Suhl visited in the Alan Suhl home, Oacoma.

Saturday, Ward, Cassie and Colton Thelen; Ross and Sarah Amber, Presho; and Jeff, Jenny,Emmie and Cooper Vollmer, Pierre, visited in the parental, grand parental and great grand parental Ila Wagner home. They had helped Ward sort cattle.

Wayne and Dorothy Monson and Bill and Mary Ann McKinney, Chamberlain, were in Winner Labor Day for the parade and attended the Quilt Show.

Jim Murphy attended the South Dakota Stockgrower's annual Convention, Rapid City, Thursday and Friday.

Callers in the Donna Peterson home during the week were Leola Peterson and John and Della Studt, Presho.

Dorothy Monson attended the Quilters meeting and workshop, Presho, Saturday.

Devotional Coffee met Friday with 7 present. Jacob and Esau were the Bible Study.

The Golden Buffalo Casino workers, family and relatives picnic was held Sunday at the Lower Brule park. Darrin, Trent, Garret and Marcia Peterson attended.

Saturday Darrin Peterson took Garret and Trent and Colton Kant to Huron to attend the State Fair. Later they spent Saturday overnight and Sunday in the grand parental and great grandparental Lyle and Leola Peterson home.

Lawrence, Wanda and Makenzie Jennings, and Tyler Ladd, Mitchell, spent a week ago Sunday in the Roland and Billy Mae Peterson home. On Labor Day they all were in Winner where Roland and Lawrence were in the parade for the Shriner's. The Jennings left for home Monday.

Charles and Mary Ann Rogers were in Lake Benton, Minnesota, last Sunday, to attend the 1st birthday party for the twins, Matthew and EllaMae, children of Dave and Linda Grooters. They returned home in the evening.

Saturday evening, after Mass, a farewell coffee was hosted for Sylvia Wilmott, who is moving to Mankato, Minnesota.

Paul and Myrna Swanson, Pukwana, were Labor Day evening visitors in the Charles and Mary Ann Rogers home.

A week ago Friday Wylee, Jodi and Mackenzie Anderson, Fremont, Nebraska, arrived at the parental Lee and Jean Anderson home. All drove to Rapid City where they met John and Buffy Gerard; they visited and toured the Black Hills over the weekend.

Verlyn and Jan Gruenig and John, Lorinda, Alex and Aaron Toupal, Platte, attended the State Fair, Huron, September 4th . On the 6th Verlyn was in Winner in the parade with the Big Bend Shriner's Club.

Gaylord Choal visited Jack Wheeler, Chamberlain, Wednesday.

The evening of September 6th, Verlyn and Jan Gruenig attended the Fort Pierre Chapter #90 Order of the Eastern Star regular meeting.

Friday Myrna Kubik and Donna Boe were in Mitchell.

Phoenix Choal visited her great grand parents, Sue and Gaylord Choal, Tuesday after school.

September 11th, Verlyn and Jan Gruenig attended the Order of the Eastern Star Fall Practice, Spearfish.

Lee and Jean Anderson attended the American Legion Pancake Brunch Sunday at the Legion Hall; Eddie Byre joined them.

Donna Boe attended the American Legion Pancake Brunch Sunday at the Legion Hall.

LeRoy Choal was a Tuesday visitor in the parental Gaylord and Sue Choal home.

Tenelle Choal joined her grandparents, Gaylord and Sue Choal for church Sunday.
