Memorial Day observed Monday, May 28 
 
   Scott Muirhead will be the speaker at Memorial Day services in Vivian and Presho Mon., May 28.  
   The Webster-Larson Legion Post will hold services at 9:30 am at the Vivian Hall, followed by a ceremony at the Vivian cemetery. All guests are invited to return to the hall for coffee and rolls. 
   The American Legion Butrick Post will conduct services at 11:00 a.m. at the Lyman County Historical Museum in Presho. A potluck dinner will follow at the museum. The auxiliary will furnish pulled pork sandwhiches and paper plates, silverware and drinks, others are asked to bring salads and desserts to share. 
   The Presho Legion members will place flags at the grave sites of veterans at area cemeteries, Presho, Catholic, Medicine Creek, and Hilmoe, starting at 5 p.m. Sunday night. Volunteers are welcome to assist.  
   The Post is also requesting members and other community volunteers help put up the flags at the Lyman County Veterans’ Memorial, weather permitting, and to set up chairs Monday morning starting at 8:00 am.  
   The Johnson-Peterson American Legion Post will hold an outdoor service at the Kennebec cemetery at 9:30 a.m. The Memorial Day ceremony will take place at the Reliance Legion Hall at 11 a.m. with Larry McManus, Chamberlain as speaker. An outdoor service will follow at the Reliance cemetery. All are invited to return to the Reliance Legion Hall for a potluck dinner.  
   Members of the Legion appreciate the community support and invite people to attend Memorial Day events hosted to honor service men and women.
