Knee High by the 4th of July
Griffin and Raylen, Ryan and Lorlen, stand in the middle of their dad’s corn field. This old farmers’ saying knee high by the 4th of July meant that if corn had reached that height by early July that the farmer was expected to have a good crop year. By the looks of the corn field it looks like it might be a good crop.
