News Item: : Area communities to observe Memorial Day

Memorial Day services at Vivian will be held at the Community Hall at 9:30 AM; services at Presho will follow at the Lyman County Memorial (museum) site at 11AM with a potluck dinner concluding the programs. Gloria Schaefer of Kennebec will be the guest speaker for both events.
Johnson/Peterson Post 179 will hold services at the Legion Hall in Reliance at 9:00 AM and at the Gym in Kennebec at 11 AM. Services will include a stop at the Reliance and Kennebec Cemeteries. Ed Geddes of Oacoma will be the guest speaker. Crystal Brakke will provide several musical selections and winners of the Auxiliary poem contest will read their winning poetry. A pot luck dinner at the gym in Kennebec following the service at the cemetery.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend any of the Memorial Day programs hosted by area Legion and Auxiliary Posts of Lyman County.
