St. Patty’s to be celebrated on first day of Spring

Believe it or not, Saint Patrick’s Day is just right around the corner, and since it falls on a Wednesday this year, Presho will celebrate it on Saturday, March 20, the first day of Spring.
The Blarney Commission is diligently working to make the 28th annual celebration one of the best.
Irish pipers and tin whistlers are practicing, local eateries are stocking up on Irish food and drink, and those sure of foot are training for the Shamrock Shuffle.
Grand is the day that all Presho’s Irish congregate to remember the good Saint and celebrate his Legacy; the Legacy o’ Ireland!
Join the Blarney Commission from 11:00-noon on Main Street and kiss the chip o’ the stone and register for the Shamrock Shuffle, which starts at noon.
Watch the leapin’ leprechauns as they shuffle around Presho to the sound o’ the Irish Bagpipes, then partake in your favorite Irish dish, corned beef or mulligan stew before the parade starts at 2 PM.
