The Lyman County Pheasants Forever Chapter will hold it’s annual membership banquet Saturday, Oct. 20 at the gym in Kennebec.
The social hour starts at 6 PM, the meal will be served at 7 PM, and the auction will follow.
Approximately 18 guns will be given away through raffles and drawings along with a variety of hunting related items including artwork from wildlife artists Mark Anderson of Sioux Falls and Karen Brown of Minneapolis.
A new item added to the auction this year is a completely outfitted African safari which will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
The banquet committee has hired the Lyman High School band to prepare and serve the prime rib dinner, and the Kennebec Firemen will earn all proceeds from the bar.
Pheasants Forever is dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs.
